Christian Mbarga is  Associate  Professor of French at St. 蜜桃視頻_蜜桃視頻APP_蜜桃視頻官网.  He completed  his Ph.D. in French Studies at The Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of  Dr Wilda Anderson (The Johns Hopkins University), and Dr. Jacques Neefs, (Université de Paris VIII, / The Johns Hopkins University) in Baltimore, USA. Dr. Christian Mbarga’s dissertation entitled  “Zola et ses femmes: Quelques figures féminines de pouvoir dans  les Rougon-Macquart d’Emile Zola” (“Selected female power figures in Emile Zola’s Rougon-Macquart”), focused on the role of female power figures in Emile Zola’s epic 20-volume Rougon-Macquart saga and their implications for both the literary and social circles in the Naturalist writer’s time. Dr. Christian Mbarga’s  book Emile Zola : les femmes de pouvoir dans les “Rougon-Macquart” was published by L’Harmattan in 2008 and he is  currently co-editing  a  second book provisionally entitled  Le Nouveau Monde : Terres d’exil, Terres d’accueil.
